It is our aim at Kilmardinny Nursery to ensure each child has access to a relevant, broad and balanced pre-five curriculum. In order to achieve this we follow the 'Curriculum Framework for children in the anti and pre-school year' which was produced by Her Majesty's Inspectors of Schools.

The key aspects of this curriculum are:

* Physical Development and Movement
* Emotional, Personal & Social Development

When you are allocated a place the following procedures will apply;

* Welcome both parent/s & and child and Fill out registration form
* Make peg and show parent/s and child where to hang their coat
* Fully discuss with parent/s the general procedure of the nursery and also be available to answer any questions
* Ask parent/s to always say goodbye to their children
* Allo the child adequate time to observe the other children and toys
* Phone parent/s to reassure them that their child has settled
* Above all, tender loving care is required
